Handsomely styled, this rugged electric food slicer is heavy-duty, with die-cast aluminum construction and excellent stability and rigidity for accurate slicing. It's ideal for the home kitchen and the optimal solution for outdoor enthusiasts who want to slice their own game, make homemade beef jerky or slice a wide variety of foods including vegetables, fruits, breads and cheese. Slice from deli-thin to approximately one inch thick with the Model 665's high-quality multi-purpose 8.5-inch stainless steel blade that includes a blade cover for reduced friction and easier slicing. It comes complete with a professional metal food pusher that ensures a better grip for effortless slicing. Even the most demanding slicing tasks are easier with its powerful, cool running high torque motor and reliable, smooth gear drive operation. An advanced cooling system ensures continuous, non-stop slicing. The cantilevered design delivers foods directly to large trays or platters, and the large capacity food carriage retracts fully to permit slicing of extra-large roasts, hams and other foods. The Model 665 has an "Easy-Clean" design in which the blade, blade cover, food carriage, food pusher, food deflector and thickness guide plate all remove easily for cleaning. A designated button secures the food carriage in "lock" position to limit access to the blade when the unit is not in use.
