The Italiana FoodTech IAD-C Compact Automatic Divider is engineered to divide large volumes of dough into consistently sized portions with virtually no human input or training required. Designed for bakeries, pizzerias, and commercial dough operations facing labor constraints or growing production demand, this machine delivers repeatable portion accuracy while maintaining a compact footprint that fits easily into space-limited environments.
The divider uses interchangeable pistons available in 10 mm increments from 60 mm to 150 mm, allowing operators to portion dough from as little as 0.7 oz up to 58.2 oz (20–1650 g). This wide range makes the IAD-C suitable for everything from small rolls to large dough portions without changing machines. Four standard hopper sizes and an available pressure hopper allow the divider to handle varying dough capacities and hydration levels, including high yeast and higher hydration doughs.
Independent Piston and Conveyor Speed Control
The IAD-C is equipped with independently controlled piston and conveyor speeds, allowing operators to fine tune portioning accuracy and product flow based on dough consistency and production requirements. Electronic speed regulation ensures smooth, controlled operation, while manual or automatic weight regulation helps maintain consistent piece weights throughout extended production runs.
Compact Design with Front-End Operation
Designed specifically for facilities where floor space is at a premium, the IAD-C requires minimal operating space and can be stored in as little as 24” x 42” when not in use. A front end control panel places all key functions within easy reach of the operator, reducing setup time and simplifying daily operation without requiring specialized training.
Stainless Steel Construction and Integrated Systems

Caster wheels allow the machine to be repositioned easily for cleaning or layout changes. A conveyor belt with scraper helps keep product transfer clean, while the integrated lubrication system with filter and sensors supports consistent mechanical performance and reduced maintenance over time.
When paired with a Roundi rounding system, the IAD-C transforms into a complete dough ball making solution. The divider separates dough into equal portions and deposits them directly into the rounding system, producing uniform, properly rounded dough balls ready for fermentation or processing.
