Return and refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you have received it in and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can email us at CS@TheChefStore.com or you can process a return via the self serve returns and exchanges portal found here. You will need the order number and the email address that you used to place the order with.

If your return is accepted, we will issue you an RMA number, as well as instructions on how and where to return your package. Items sent back to us without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your shipment upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. Please refer to our shipping policy regarding how to handle LTL freight shipments

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
 types of items cannot be returned, such as customized items, made to order items or closeout items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Shipping and Restocking

If your item shipped to you with free shipping, you will be responsible to pay for that shipping cost along with the cost to ship the item back. If the item did not ship to you with free shipping, you will just be responsible to pay for the cost of shipping the item back. A 25% restocking fee will be applied. To reiterate, In the case that the refund is approved, the total amount refunded will be the original purchase price minus the shipping cost and the 25% restocking fee.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded via original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
