The Arctic Air ARCB36 38" Refrigerated Chef Base combines heavy-duty cold storage with a durable work surface designed for cooking equipment. Ideal for commercial kitchens, this model provides precise temperature control and efficient cooling in a robust stainless steel frame.
Built for performance and reliability, the ARCB36 features a heavy-duty stainless steel top insulated with a ceramic fabric layer over high-density foam, preventing heat transfer to the refrigerated cabinet. The marine edge top includes a 1” (2” overall) extension on all sides, allowing cooking equipment to sit flush and stable. Two full-extension telescoping drawers provide easy access to stored items without tipping pans, and each drawer accommodates full-size pans (and 1/3-size pans) up to 6” deep.
The side-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system uses an environmentally friendly R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant and is front-breathing for flexible installation. Temperature control is managed by an electronic thermostat with an external digital LED display, ensuring precise settings between 33°F and 41°F. Reinforced mounting points and heavy-duty 5” casters (two locking) provide stability and mobility. The ARCB36 is NSF Standard 7 certified and backed by a two-year parts and labor warranty, plus a five-year compressor warranty.
