The 10 mm wide seam is significantly wider than the standard 2-5 mm seal on a general-purpose hand sealer. For sterilization tubing and instrument bags, the wider bond holds up to handling, sterilization cycles, and storage without compromising the sterile barrier. This is the seal width specified for use with bags from brands like Nyclave, Defend, and Septodont.
Integrated Sliding Cutter for Pouch Conversion
The cutter slides across the seal line so the operator can make individual pouches from continuous poly tubing in a single motion. Seal one end, advance the tubing, seal the next end, then slide the cutter to separate the pouch. This eliminates the separate trim step typical of single-pouch workflows.
No Warm-Up Time
Impulse sealing fires heat into the seal area only during the dwell cycle, so the KF-210HC is ready the moment it is plugged in. There is no preheat wait and no risk of the bars holding heat between cycles. Hold the sealing arm down for an additional one to two seconds after the timer light cuts out so the seal cools under pressure, then slide the cutter.
