The Sealer Sales TISF-452 is an impulse foot-operated sealer with a 18 inch seal length and 2mm seal width. Designed for high-volume sealing work where the operator needs both hands free for bag handling. The impulse design needs no warm-up time and consumes power only during the seal cycle itself.
Impulse Sealing with No Warm-Up Time
Impulse sealers heat the seal wire briefly during each cycle rather than holding it at constant temperature. The benefit is fast startup (no warm-up wait at the start of shift) and lower power consumption (no continuous heating between cycles). The drawback is that impulse sealers cannot bond materials like aluminum foil that need sustained heat penetration, but for standard poly bag sealing the impulse format is the right tool.
Plug-In Electronic Timer for Variable Control
The plug-in electronic timer gives the operator variable control over the heat-cycle duration. Thicker film needs longer dwell; thinner film needs shorter dwell. Dialing in the timer for the bag material being run is a one-time adjustment per shift, after which the operator can focus on bag handling rather than seal calibration.
18 inch Seal Length x 2mm Seal Width
The 18 inch seal accepts bags up to that width in a single closure pass. The 2mm seal width is narrow enough for low power draw and fast cycles on standard poly bag films.
Foot-Pedal Operation Frees Both Hands
A foot pedal triggers the seal cycle so both of the operator's hands stay on the bag. This is the standard configuration for production work where the operator is sealing pre-filled bags off a fill station; hand-trigger sealers force the operator to set the bag down before triggering, which doubles the cycle time.
All-Metal Construction on Rectangular Base
