The Sealer Sales WD-305HT is a heavy-duty portable double-impulse sealer with a 12 inch seal length, 5mm seal width, and a 9.8 ft handle cord that gives the operator maximum reach around oddly-shaped products. Designed for sealing drum and box liners, large industrial bags, and other applications where a benchtop sealer can not reach around the product.

Portable Format for Sealing Around Oddly-Shaped Products

The WD-305HT is a portable sealer rather than a benchtop unit. Applications include sealing drum or box liners (the bag is too large to be brought to a benchtop sealer; the sealer comes to the bag), sealing around large objects, and general industrial applications where benchtop-format sealers do not have the reach. The 9.8 ft handle cord gives the operator maximum portability around the work area.

Double Impulse with Two Heating Elements

Double impulse means two heating elements work together to apply seal heat from both sides of the bag simultaneously. This is what gives a strong seal on heavier materials and on overlap seams where a single-side impulse sealer would underseal. The 5mm seal width is wide enough for a peel-resistant bond on industrial-gauge poly and laminated film.

12 inch Seal Length

The 12 inch seal length covers most drum and box liner widths used in industrial packaging. For longer seals the operator runs multiple overlapping cycles along the length of the bag opening, which is standard practice for portable sealing of oversize bags.

Recommended for Industrial Films

Recommended for poly materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, PE laminated paper, and aluminum foil. Sealing is by impulse heat with a timer-controlled cycle, which means no warm-up time and no continuous power draw. The unit is ready to seal as soon as the operator squeezes the jaws together.

Easy Operator Workflow

Place the item to be sealed between the jaws and squeeze the handle shut. An indicator light on the main housing signals the start and finish of the seal cycle. Hold the jaws together for an additional 1 to 2 seconds after the light has turned off for the best quality seal. The heat cycle is controlled by a timer that the operator can adjust to increase or decrease heat as needed for different film gauges.
