It arrives fully charged with R134a refrigerant and is ready for operation once installed in a wall opening and plugged into a standard 115V GFCI outlet. Each unit is hand-assembled in the USA and built to deliver stable temperature, controlled humidity, and low vibration—key factors for proper wine storage and aging in both residential and commercial cellars. The WKL 6000 maintains cellar temperatures between 48°F and 63°F, covering the full range needed for red, white, or mixed wine storage. The Sentry III+ controller is preset to 55°F, but you can adjust as needed. While holding your set point, the unit manages relative humidity in the 50% to 75% range. This protects corks from drying out and prevents mold growth on racks and cases, preserving both wine quality and bottle appearance. The system delivers a steady, gentle airflow to avoid sudden temperature swings that can damage wine. The WKL 6000 is engineered specifically for long-term wine storage, not for rapid chilling or frequent-access service cabinets.

Sentry III+ Electronic Control System

The WKL 6000 includes the Breezaire Sentry III+ digital controller, which displays cellar temperature on a large green LED and allows set point adjustments with simple push buttons—no tools needed. User settings are stored in permanent memory, so you do not lose your preferences after a power outage. The controller features an automatic compressor restart delay to prevent short-cycling, a high-temperature alarm that alerts you if the cellar exceeds your set threshold, and automatic overheat protection that shuts down the unit if temperatures approach 75°F. The standard air sensor regulates temperature, but you can add an optional bottle probe for direct liquid temperature monitoring. If a sensor fails, the display shows an error code, and you can keep the unit running manually until service is performed.

The WKL 6000 uses vibration-dampening mounts throughout the cooling system to minimize movement that can disturb wine sediment and affect long-term quality.
