The Hydra-Kool KGL-OU-48-S is a 48-inch over-under combination merchandiser that gives you 11 cubic feet of display capacity split between a refrigerated open-front lower section and an upper section that can switch between refrigerated and ambient modes. At four feet wide, this model covers the sweet spot for delis, bakery counters, and prepared food stations where you want side-by-side product variety without dedicating wall space to separate cases. The rear sliding glass doors on the upper section keep product accessible for restocking from the back while maintaining temperature on the lower shelves.

Dual-Zone Display: Refrigerated Below, Flexible Above

The lower section is an open-front, front-loading refrigerated display that holds product between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit using forced air refrigeration. It includes one adjustable shelf and a deck, so you can set up two tiers of grab-and-go items like bottled drinks, sandwiches, or salads. The upper section has one shelf and a deck behind rear sliding glass doors, and it can run refrigerated or switch to ambient mode for dry goods. Temperature and defrost are regulated by a digital controller, and the self-contained condensing unit slides out for service access. LED Lighting and Wood Laminate Finish

LED strips in the canopy and under all shelves light both the upper and lower display zones, keeping product colors accurate and labels readable without adding significant heat to the cabinet.
