The Omcan FS-US-0246 is an electric fish scaler powered by a 0.33 HP (0.25 kW) motor running at 3,450 RPM. The diamond tooth head is the standard attachment for most fish varieties. At 3,450 RPM, it removes scales in a fraction of the time hand scaling takes, which matters when you are processing dozens of fish during morning prep. The motor provides consistent power throughout the scaling process so you do not have to apply excessive pressure that could bruise the flesh. You run the scaler along the fish from tail to head and the rotating teeth lift and fling the scales off cleanly.
