The Omcan 46646 Steam Table

The Omcan FW-CN-0002-H is a 30-inch wide open well electric steam table with 2 full-size pan positions, an adjustable stainless steel undershelf, and a removable polyethylene cutting board. This is the most compact unit in the series, sized for smaller buffet setups, catering side stations, or hotel breakfast bars where you only need to hold a couple of hot items at temperature. Two independent infinite controls let you dial each well separately, so you can run soup at a rolling simmer in one well and hold a casserole at a gentler temperature in the other without affecting either one.

Independent Infinite Controls with Individual Stainless Steel Heating Elements

Each of the 2 wells has its own infinite control knob and dedicated stainless steel heating element, so you can set each well to a different temperature independently. Infinite controls give you a smooth range of heat output rather than fixed steps, which matters when you are holding delicate sauces that break if they get too hot or thick soups that need higher heat to stay at safe serving temperature. The stainless steel heating elements resist corrosion from the water bath and clean up faster than exposed coil elements. At 2,000W total on a 240V single-phase circuit drawing 8.3A, the table brings all 2 wells to operating temperature quickly even during a cold start before service.

Stainless Steel Construction with Undershelf and Polyethylene Cutting Board

The entire frame, well housing, and legs are stainless steel, which holds up to daily use in commercial kitchens where steam tables get bumped, splashed, and wiped down multiple times per shift. The adjustable undershelf (27.6" x 18" x 2") provides storage right where you need it for backup pans, serving utensils, and extra food containers so your buffet line stays organized during service. The removable polyethylene cutting board sits on top of the unit and gives you a prep surface for slicing bread, portioning desserts, or staging plates without needing a separate table next to the steam table. Adjustable stainless steel feet let you level the unit on uneven floors. Pans and spillage pans are sold separately, so you can choose the depth and configuration that fits your menu. Spillage pans (item 80907) are required for wet well operation.
