The Omcan 48396 Heat Lamp
The Omcan FW-CN-1250 is a freestanding infrared heat lamp, the largest model in the series at 52 inches wide with 5 infrared bulbs rated at 250W each (1,250W total). The wide span covers a full-length pass window or buffet station, keeping a complete lineup of plated entrees warm while your server runs the food. Adjustable height gives you control over the intensity, so you can lower the lamps for quick-turnover items that only sit for a minute and raise them for buffet trays that need gentle holding over a longer period.
Infrared Bulbs with Ventilated Aluminum Reflectors
Each of the 5 bulbs puts out 250W of infrared heat directed downward through ventilated aluminum reflectors. Infrared energy heats the food surface directly rather than warming the surrounding air, so plates stay hot without drying out the way they would under a convection-style warmer. The ventilated reflector design allows heat to dissipate upward so the lamp housing stays cooler and the bulbs last longer. The power switch is located away from the heated area, which means you are not reaching under hot bulbs to turn the unit on and off during service.
6063 Alloy Aluminum Frame
The entire frame is built from 6063 alloy aluminum, which is lightweight enough to reposition easily but strong enough to hold the bulb assembly steady over a pass window or buffet table. Aluminum does not rust, so the unit holds up in humid kitchen environments where a painted steel frame would start flaking within a year.
