The Sealer Sales FKR-300A Bag Sealer
The Sealer Sales FKR-300A is a 12" portable double-impulse bag sealer in the FKR-A series. It is built for operators who need to seal poly bags, gusseted bags, or large box liners where a benchtop sealer would not reach. The T-clamp handle gives you direct mechanical leverage over the seal, the dual heating elements push enough heat to seal thicker films than a single-impulse unit, and the whole package stays light enough to carry from station to station.
Dual Impulse Sealing for Thicker Films
Most portable impulse sealers fire a single heating element. The FKR-A series fires two, top and bottom, on each cycle. That doubles the heat that flows into the seal area without doubling the dwell time, so 4 mil and thicker poly films, PVC, PE laminated paper, and aluminum foil all seal cleanly without scorching. Single-impulse sealers in this size class usually leave one side of those materials under-bonded.
Adjustable Timer and Indicator Light
The sealing timer is calibrated to the material you are running. Set it once for the film you are using and the unit fires the same dwell on every cycle. A built-in indicator light on the main housing tells the operator the heat cycle has completed; for best results hold the handle closed for an additional one to two seconds after the light turns off so the seal can cool under pressure.
Built for Irregular and Oversized Packages
Because the seal jaws are on the end of a handle and the handle is connected to the main housing by a 7-foot cord, you can reach into drum liners, box liners, large gusseted bags, and any other package that will not balance on a benchtop sealer. The 5-foot power cord plus the 7-foot handle cord gives you 12 feet of working radius from the outlet.
FKR-A Sizes and Materials
The FKR-300A ships at 12" seal length. The full FKR-A series offers three sizes: FKR-200A at 8 inches, FKR-300A at 12 inches, and FKR-400A at 16 inches. All three handle polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, PE laminated paper, and aluminum foil. Power consumption scales with seal length: 200W on the 200A, 300W on the 300A, 400W on the 400A.
