The Sealer Sales HLC-1120LD is a heavy-duty vertical continuous band sealer with an adjustable sealing head, adjustable conveyor belt height, integrated material trimmer, dry-ink coding station, and 10mm seal width. The trimmer is the differentiating feature: as the bag passes through, excess film above the seal line is cut and removed in one motion, leaving a flush trim line at the top edge. Sized for medium to heavy-duty production on over-bagged or liquid-filled product.

Integrated Material Trimmer at the Seal Line

The trimmer cuts excess film or material above the seal line as the bag passes through the conveyor, leaving a clean flush edge at the top of the sealed bag. This is what makes the HLC-1120LD the right choice for over-bagging operations (a product already in primary packaging gets a secondary outer bag) and for filled bags where the top of the bag has excess material that would otherwise need to be trimmed by hand. The trim scrap drops away into a catch bin under the head.

Adjustable Sealing Head and Conveyor Belt Height

The sealing head and conveyor belt both adjust in height, which is what makes one unit handle a wide range of bag sizes. A taller pack runs through with the head raised; a shorter pack runs through with the head lowered. The conveyor belt drops to give the operator clearance for awkward fills.

Vertical Configuration for Liquid and Filled Bags

The vertical configuration keeps filled bags upright while the top of the bag passes through the seal head and trimmer. Liquids, powders, and granular contents stay settled to the bottom of the bag rather than rushing up into the seal area. A solid-state digital temperature controller holds the bars at the set point through long production runs.

Motorized Rubber Conveyor with Knurled Pressure Wheels

The motorized rubber conveyor runs at variable speed so the operator can dial in dwell time for the film and bag profile. Knurled pressure wheels above the conveyor adjust pressure independently so heavy filled bags get enough pressure on the seal bars while light empty bags do not get crushed.
