The Sealer Sales KF-150CST Bag Sealer
The Sealer Sales KF-150CST is a 6 inch KF-Series portable direct heat sealer designed for sealing thicker materials and barrier films that an impulse sealer cannot fully bond. The 15 mm wide serrated seal applies heat from PTFE-coated jaws so the bond holds on coated aluminum foil, Kraft paper, cellophane, and coated polypropylene. The high-impact ABS thermal casing keeps the unit light and one-handed, and the 110V power option matches it to North American or international supply.
Two-Temperature Setting for Material Range
The KF-150CST has two fixed temperature settings, 215°F (low) and 350°F (high), so the operator can pick the right setting for the material being run. The two-setting controller is calibrated for the most common LDPE and laminated-film thicknesses; applications that demand finer than 135°F resolution typically require an adjustable-controller hand sealer instead of a two-setting unit.
Direct Heat for Thicker Films and Barrier Materials
Direct heat sealers push heat into the seal from the heated jaw, holding the bond temperature throughout the dwell. This is the configuration for cellophane, coated aluminum foil, Kraft paper, mylar, and coated PP. Direct heat sealers are not the right choice for polyethylene; impulse sealers are the correct technology for poly bags.
PTFE-Coated Jaws and Serrated Seal Line
PTFE-coated jaws prevent material from sticking to the seal bar. The 15 mm serrated seal width applies pressure across a textured pattern for grip on stiffer films and a recognizable seal pattern on the finished package.
Portable for Bench, Cart, or Mobile Workstation
The high-impact ABS thermal casing keeps the KF-150CST portable at 2 lbs total weight. The 7-foot power cord reaches most bench layouts without an extension. The unit can be optionally converted to a foot-operated sealer with the pedal and clamp set accessory.
Warm-Up Required
Allow 5 to 15 minutes for the jaws to reach the set temperature before starting production. Do not touch the jaws until the unit has cooled down after use.
