The Sealer Sales SS-2028MK L-Bar Sealer
The Sealer Sales SS-2028MK is a Standard Series semi-automatic L-Bar sealer rated for heavy-duty production, designed to run two shifts per day. It pairs the Micro Knife seal head with a motorized discharge conveyor, dual magnet hold-down, stainless steel film clamps, and a heavy-duty cast aluminum seal head. The 20" x 28" seal envelope handles products up to 25" film width. Throughput is 10 to 15 packages per minute under typical operator pacing.
Production-Rated Construction
Heavy-duty frame, cast aluminum seal head, and seal head return cylinder are sized for continuous two-shift operation. The SS Standard Series has been in production since 1993 with thousands of units in the field.
Micro Knife Band Ribbon Seal
Micro Knife seal technology cuts and seals the film with a thin heated band that lasts thousands of cycles before service. Cast aluminum seal head provides rigidity through long production runs.
Motorized Discharge Conveyor
An integrated motorized discharge conveyor with timer carries sealed packages away from the seal envelope automatically so the operator can load the next package without manual offload. Transition rollers ease the handoff from seal area to conveyor.
Magnet Hold-Down and Film Roll Brake
Dual magnet hold-down lets the operator load product without holding the upper seal frame. The film roll brake prevents over-winding so film tension stays consistent through long production runs.
Recommended Film: POF
POF shrink film is the recommended material. PVC is not recommended; PVC byproducts can corrode the seal wire over time and the film does not shrink consistently with this seal head profile.
Pairs with a Separate Shrink Tunnel
The seal head discharges into a downstream shrink tunnel for a complete L-Bar plus shrink-wrap line.
