The electric design dispenses tape strips from 4 inch to 99 inch at the press of a button. The 99 inch maximum is well over double the manual SS-800's 42 inch limit, which matters for sealing oversize cartons, palletizing boxes, or any application where one long strip closes a seam that would otherwise need multiple manual pulls. Operator sets the length on the keypad and the same length repeats for every cycle until changed.

Quiet Motor for Manned Packing Benches

The motor is quiet enough to keep the unit on a manned packing bench in customer-facing areas. Tape dispensers historically had a reputation for clack-and-grind operation that operators found tiring across long shifts; the SS-800B's quiet motor removes that complaint.

The 40-ounce water reservoir matches the manual SS-800 capacity. At electric dispensing rates the reservoir empties faster (more tape per shift), but 40 ounces still lasts through long uninterrupted packing runs before refill. The brush is replaceable and the reservoir empties for cleaning between shifts.
