Four-Direction Recirculating Air Flow
Hot air recirculates from all four sides of the chamber, which gives even shrink results across the full surface of every package. This is the same four-direction principle as the smaller chamber tunnels in the line, scaled up with a larger blower and heater bank for production throughput.
44"L Chamber and Live Roller Rod Conveyor
The 18"W x 12"H x 44"L chamber accepts packages up to the chamber height and runs them through on a live roller rod conveyor with chromed rollers and shafts. Chromed rollers resist rust in wet-pack production environments and do not transfer marks to the shrink film. The longer chamber length on the 44" models gives more dwell at a given conveyor speed, which means faster line speeds for the same shrink quality.
9 KW Heater Bank and 1 HP Blower
The 9 KW heater bank and 1 HP blower together deliver heat to the chamber and recirculate it around the package. Heat-up time from cold is under 15 minutes to 300 °F, so the operator can power the tunnel on at start of shift and have it ready to run before the rest of the line is staged.
Digital Temperature Control with Automatic Cool-Down
Digital temperature control holds the chamber at the target setpoint through the run; adjustable air velocity control lets the operator tune the air flow against the film gauge and package size. When the operator powers down at end of shift, the automatic cool-down cycle runs the blower until the heating elements drop below their thermal limit before shut-off, which extends heater life and prevents premature failure.

Anti-jam safety on the conveyor and thermal overload protection on all motors keep the tunnel from damaging itself in fault conditions. Sealed bearings on the drive and idler shafts keep service intervals long.
