The UNOX XUC212 is the chimney silencer accessory that connects to the hot-gas exhaust on the XASW-03HS series SPEED.X speed ovens to reduce operating noise. Speed ovens cycle the convection fan and microwave often during service, and the exhaust chimney is one of the loudest points on the unit when running. The silencer attenuates the high-frequency exhaust noise without restricting the airflow the oven needs for ventless operation.

Engineered for the XASW-03HS Series Chimney Geometry

The silencer mounts directly to the chimney port on the XASW-03HS-EDDS and XASW-03HS-SDDS units. It is not a generic muffler and not interchangeable with other UNOX chimney accessories. Compatibility is limited to the XASW-03HS speed oven series, with the geometry sized for that specific exhaust path.

Maintains Ventless Operation Without Restricting Airflow

The XASW-03HS series is Intertek-certified for ventless operation under the EPA 202 emission standard. The XUC212 silencer is engineered to keep the airflow path within tolerance for that certification, so the unit holds its ventless rating with the silencer installed. Operations that sited the speed oven against a noise-sensitive area now have an acoustic-treated answer that does not force them to add an engineered exhaust.
