The Alexander Industries A-TR600 is a enclosed aluminum transport cabinet that carries 24 15 x 20 in. room service trays, two per slide, behind a solid hinged door. It is built for hotels, hospitals and long term care kitchens that plate meals on trays and roll them to the floor covered. The cabinet rolls on 6 in. heavy duty casters and arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
3003-H14 Heli-Arc Welded Aluminum Cabinet
Body, door and tray supports are 3003-H14 aluminum joined by heli-arc welding, so there are no rivets to loosen and nothing to rust after a hose-down. The closed sides and door keep dust and drips off plated meals, which is what lets you deliver a larger load in fewer trips and keep it sanitary on the way.
3 In. Angle Supports on 5 In. Centers
Each tray rides on a 3 in. aluminum angle, and the angles are spaced 5 in. apart to clear a covered plate, a beverage and a soup cup on the same tray. Two trays share each slide, which keeps the cabinet narrow enough for a patient room door.
6 In. Casters and Bolted and Welded Hinges
Four 6 in. heavy duty plate casters, two with brakes, roll a loaded cabinet over elevator sills and hold it still in a corridor. The extra heavy duty hinges are bolted and welded, so the door stays aligned on its latch through years of daily use.
