The Alexander Industries CR-425 Can Rack
The Alexander Industries CR-425 is a work table height aluminum can dispenser rack that holds 72 #5 or #10 cans on 1-1/2 in. slide spacing, with a 3/4 in. thick plastic cutting board on top and adjustable feet underneath. It suits a school kitchen, commissary or restaurant prep line that wants canned goods stored at counter level with a work surface in the same 28-1/2 x 36 in. footprint. The rack is stationary and arrives fully welded and ready to use.
Work Table Height Can Storage
At 39 in. tall the CR-425 lines up with a prep table, so cooks open cans on top and pull the next one off the sloped runners without bending to a floor rack. Cans load at the back and roll forward on 1-7/16 x 1-7/8 in. tray runners, which keeps your older stock in front where it gets used first. The extra 3 in. of height adds another level of cans, 72 in all.
3/4 In. Plastic Cutting Board Top
The top is a 3/4 in. thick plastic cutting board, so the rack doubles as a cutting station or a landing spot for opened cans and hotel pans. A can opener is available as an option to mount on the rack.
Welded 1-1/2 In. Aluminum Frame on Adjustable Feet
Uprights and cross members are 1-1/2 in. square aluminum, with the cross members welded to the uprights and the rest of the frame joined with high tensile aluminum rivets. Aluminum will not rust in a dry storeroom or a walk-in. Adjustable feet level the rack on an uneven floor.
