The Alexander Industries HD-2414 Poly Box Transport Cart
The Alexander Industries HD-2414 is an open end loading aluminum cart with 12 slides sized for 18 x 26 in. poly food boxes. It is the rack for commissaries, prep kitchens and walk-ins that store bulk product in lidded boxes and need to roll a whole batch to the line or the loading dock at once. The frame is all welded and arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
1-1/2 In. Square 6061-T6 Aluminum Frame
Uprights and cross members are 1-1/2 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion welded at every joint, and the cart is rated for a 2,000 lb load. Poly boxes full of marinating protein or cut produce are heavy, and the welded frame carries them without the joints working loose. Aluminum will not rust in a walk-in or under a daily hose-down.
End Loading Slides for 18 x 26 In. Boxes
Boxes slide in from the open end and sit on angle supports, so you can pull one box out without lifting the ones above it. Each slide is spaced to clear a lidded box.
Optional Accessories
Alexander offers donut bumpers to protect walls and door frames, a tray stopper to keep boxes from sliding out the back, a sanitary rack cover, and a pair of locking casters to hold the cart in place.
