The Alexander Industries HDOV-702-NESTING Oval Tray Rack
The Alexander Industries HDOV-702-NESTING is a heavy duty all welded aluminum oval tray rack that holds 10 oval trays up to 24 in. on 6 in. centers and is rated for a 1200 lb load. It suits banquet operations, hotels, hospitals and commissaries that stage plated platters in volume and push loaded racks all day. It is built in nesting construction, so empty racks slide into each other and a row of them takes up a fraction of the floor space of racks parked side by side. The 26 in. wide frame rolls on four swivel casters and arrives fully welded and ready to use.
1-1/2 In. Square All Welded Aluminum Frame
Uprights and cross members are 1-1/2 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion in .093 in. wall, and each tray runner is a 1 x 4 in. extrusion of the same alloy and wall. Every joint is welded rather than riveted, which is what lets the rack carry 1200 lb and shrug off the knocks of a loading dock. Aluminum will not rust in a walk-in cooler or under a daily hose-down.
6 In. Slide Spacing for 10 Oval Trays
The 6 in. spacing leaves room for a covered or garnished platter on every level, and ten runners stack in a 71 in. tall frame that fits through a standard door. Alexander sizes the runners to the oval tray you specify at ordering, 24 in. for this model.
5 In. Ball Bearing Swivel Casters
Four 5 in. swivel casters with ball bearings and non-marking hard rubber tires let one person move a full rack across tile or sealed concrete without leaving scuffs. Optional donut bumpers, a tray stopper, a sanitary rack cover and a pair of locking casters fit your frame without modification.
