The Alexander Industries HDTR-600 Tray Rack

The Alexander Industries HDTR-600 is a heavy duty aluminum tray rack that holds 24 15 x 20 in. trays, two per slide on 5 in. centers. It is built for hospital, school and institutional kitchens that plate meals on 15 x 20 in. trays. The rack rolls on four swivel casters, carries a 1200 lb load and arrives fully assembled and ready to use.

1-1/2 In. Square 6061-T6 Aluminum Frame

Uprights and cross members are 1-1/2 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, a heavier section than the 1 in. uprights on the standard TR racks, and the slides are both riveted and welded to the frame. That is where the 1200 lb load rating comes from. Aluminum does not rust in a walk-in cooler or under a daily hose-down, and the welded slides do not loosen when the rack is bumped through doorways.

5 In. Slide Spacing, Two Trays Per Slide

Each tray runner is a 1-7/16 x 1-7/8 in. 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion and carries two 15 x 20 in. trays side by side, which is how 24 trays fit in a 23-1/2 in. wide frame. The 5 in. spacing leaves room for domed lids and covered plates on every level.

5 In. Ball Bearing Swivel Casters

Four 5 in. swivel casters with ball bearings and non-marking hard rubber tires let one person push a loaded rack down a corridor without scuffing the floor. Two locking casters, donut bumpers, a tray stopper and a sanitary rack cover are available as options and fit this frame.
