The Alexander Industries OV-701 Oval Tray Rack
The Alexander Industries OV-701 is a mobile aluminum oval tray rack that holds 10 oval trays up to 23 in. on 6 in. centers. It is built for banquet kitchens, caterers, hotels and cafeterias that plate up oval platters ahead of service and need somewhere to stage them between the line and the dining room. The 25 in. wide frame rolls on four swivel casters and arrives knocked down for assembly, with factory assembly available as an option.
6061-T6 Aluminum Extrusion Frame
Uprights and cross members are 1 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, and each tray runner is a 1 x 3 in. extrusion of the same alloy in .093 in. wall. Aluminum will not rust in a walk-in cooler or under a daily hose-down, and the 3 in. wide runner gives a loaded oval platter a flat ledge to rest on. Corners are tied together with .100 in. thick 3003-H14 aluminum brackets, aircraft quality aluminum rivets and welds, so your rack stays square after years of being pushed through service doors.
6 In. Slide Spacing for 10 Oval Trays
The 6 in. spacing leaves room for a covered or garnished platter on every level. Ten runners stack in a 71 in. tall frame that fits under most kitchen ceilings and through a standard door.
5 In. Ball Bearing Swivel Casters
Four 5 in. swivel casters with ball bearings and non-marking hard rubber tires let one person move a full rack across tile or sealed concrete without leaving scuffs. Optional donut bumpers, a tray stopper, a sanitary rack cover and a pair of locking casters fit this frame without modification.
