The Alexander Industries RL-36 Refrigerator Rack

The Alexander Industries RL-36 is a solid sides refrigerator rack that holds 32 full-size 18 x 26 in. bun pans on 1-1/2 in. centers. It is built for bakeries, commissaries and hotel kitchens that roll uncovered product into a walk-in cooler or freezer and want the sides closed off from drips, dust and passing traffic. The tight 1-1/2 in. spacing packs flat product such as cookie sheets and single-layer trays into one footprint. The rack rolls on four swivel casters and arrives fully assembled.

Solid Aluminum Sides and Platform Bottom

Both sides are closed with solid aluminum panels, and the base is a platform type bottom of solid 1/8 in. thick aluminum. Together they shield the pans from cross-contamination and catch anything that drips, so your cooler floor stays cleaner. Aluminum will not rust in the constant humidity of a walk-in, and the whole rack can be hosed down.

Riveted and Heli-Arc Welded 6061-T6 Frame

Uprights and cross members are 1 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, joined with .100 in. thick 3003-H14 aluminum brackets, aircraft quality aluminum rivets and heli-arc welds. The welded joints keep the frame square while a loaded rack is pushed over the cooler threshold day after day.

5 In. Ball Bearing Swivel Casters

Four 5 in. swivel casters with ball bearings and non-marking hard rubber tires roll a full rack over tile and sealed concrete without scuffing. Corner bumpers, a tray stopper, a sanitary rack cover and a pair of locking casters are available as options.
