The Alexander Industries T-420 Bun pan rack
The Alexander Industries T-420 is a work table height end loading aluminum bun pan rack that holds 6 full-size 18 x 26 in. bun pans on 4 in. centers. At 35 in. tall it tucks under a prep table or stands beside one as a rolling staging shelf, which suits pizzerias, bakeries and small line kitchens that want a few pans close to the work without a full-height rack in the way. The 4 in. slide spacing leaves room for taller product such as domed trays, layered sheet cakes or pans with racks set inside them. The rack rolls on four swivel casters and arrives knocked down for assembly, with factory assembly available as an option.
4 In. Slide Spacing for 6 Pans
Six pans on 4 in. centers is the most open spacing in the T series, so tall or covered product clears the slide above it. Pans load from the 20 in. end, so the rack can sit with one side against a wall or table leg and still be worked from the front. The flat top frame doubles as a landing spot at counter height.
6061-T6 Aluminum Extrusion Frame
Uprights and cross members are 1 in. square 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, and each tray runner is a 1-7/16 x 1-7/8 in. extrusion of the same alloy. Aluminum will not rust in a walk-in cooler or under a daily hose-down. The connecting brackets for the bun pan shelves are included and stamped from .100 in. thick 3003-H14 aluminum, and the frame is assembled with aircraft quality aluminum rivets so it stays square in daily use.
5 In. Ball Bearing Swivel Casters
Four 5 in. swivel casters with ball bearings and non-marking hard rubber tires let you roll a loaded rack across tile or sealed concrete without scuffing the floor. Two locking casters can be added when the rack parks under a table, along with donut bumpers, a tray stopper, a sanitary rack cover or a plastic cutting board for the top.
