The Cavavin V-024WDZ-V2 holds 24 bottles of 750 ml in a 15-inch wide, 34-inch tall cabinet that drops into most standard undercounter cut-outs. Two independent temperature zones let you hold whites and reds at their correct serving temperatures at the same time, and the stainless steel door frame gives the unit a look that fits into a finished kitchen, bar, or dining room. This is the V2 version, which is the only 24-bottle VINOA with a reversible door and a wood-and-stainless front trim on the shelves.

Two Independent Temperature Zones for Reds and Whites

The upper zone holds 41-54°F (5-12°C), the range where you keep whites, roses, and lighter reds you plan to serve soon. The lower zone runs 50-68°F (10-20°C) for the fuller reds and ports you want at cellar or serving temperature. Each zone is managed from the LCD touchscreen on the door, so you can dial in both side by side without opening the cabinet. An internal fan keeps air moving so the set temperature is the same at the top of the zone as at the bottom.

Seamless Stainless Steel Frame with LOW-E Double Glazing

The stainless steel door frame has black flush-fit hinges and a contemporary stainless steel handle spanning the top of the door. The hinges are reversible, so the door can be set up to swing left or right depending on where you put the cabinet. The LOW-E double-pane glass rejects radiant heat and UV light, so sunlight and room heat do not shift the temperature inside or fade the labels on your bottles. The seamless frame has no visible fasteners, and a charcoal filter in the airflow path keeps the interior free of odors that would otherwise work into corks over time.

Beech Wood Shelves and Tri-Color LED Lighting

Five beech wood shelves sit on full-extension sliding rails, so every bottle pulls forward all the way for easy reach without shuffling the one in front. The interior LED strip has three color settings (warm white, cool white, blue) and can run continuously or switch on only when the door opens. The lock keeps the contents secure, and a door-open alarm tells you if someone leaves it ajar. A small-caster foot at the back lets you position the cabinet by yourself during install.

Built-In or Freestanding, Variable-Speed Compressor

The cabinet fits flush into a 15-inch undercounter cut-out thanks to front-vented airflow, or stands alone against a wall. The variable-speed compressor runs quiet (42 dB) and ramps up only when the cabinet needs more cooling, which is easier on the electric bill than a single-speed compressor that cycles full-on and full-off. Refrigerant is R-600a, a hydrocarbon that has a much lower global warming impact than the synthetic refrigerants in most older wine cellars.
