CMA Dishmachines 180-S 26 In. High Temperature Straight Door Type Dishwasher, 60 Racks/Hour, Automatic Soil Purging

SKU180-S BrandCMA Dishmachines

The CMA Dishmachines 180-S Door-Type Dishwasher

The CMA Dishmachines 180-S is a high temperature single rack door type dishwasher in a straight-through configuration: racks pass in one side and out the other, sliding between an inline soiled table and clean table. Rated at 60 racks or 240 covers per hour with a 180°F final rinse, it gives restaurants, diners, and institutional kitchens hot-water sanitizing in a footprint just 25-1/2 inches wide. Your dish crew loads from one end while clean, steaming racks exit the other, so the line never doubles back on itself.

Sixty Racks an Hour on a 58-Second Cycle

Each cycle takes 58 seconds start to finish: 42 seconds of wash, 12 seconds of rinse, and a 4-second dwell. That pace supports 60 racks an hour, which translates to roughly 240 covers of plates, glasses, and flatware. A 1 HP pump drives 52 gallons per minute through upper and lower stainless steel wash arms with reinforced end caps, striking soil from above and below simultaneously. During a rush, the machine finishes a rack faster than most crews can scrape and stage the next one, so the bottleneck stays out of the dish room.

180°F Sanitizing Rinse with Safety Temp

Where a low temperature machine depends on chlorine sanitizer in the final rinse, the 180-S does the job with 180°F water, leaving glassware free of chemical film. Safety Temp holds that rinse temperature on every single cycle rather than letting a busy water heater drag it down. Supplied without a booster, the machine requires 180°F incoming hot water; the optional built-in 12 kW booster lets it run from a common 120°F to 140°F supply instead. Tank temperature holds at a minimum 155°F to 160°F in the 8 gallon wash tank, maintained by a chemical resistant industrial 7 kW heater built to outlast commercial style elements.

Automatic Soil Purging and a Built-In Delime Switch

An automatic soil purging system continuously filters the wash water and drops plate debris into an external tray, keeping the tank water clean and the drain clear. Dumping the tray takes seconds, not a tank drain. For hard water, the built-in delime switch runs descaling on demand, and CMA recommends softened water at 3.5 grains per gallon or less to keep scale off the elements. At 0.82 gallons per rack and 49.2 gallons per hour at full speed, the 180-S is one of the cheaper door machines to keep running day after day.

Stainless Steel Build with Field Convertible Setup

The cabinet, tank, and wash arms are all stainless steel, so daily heat, steam, and detergent do not wear the machine down. Convenience features carry the daily workload: auto start/stop fires the cycle when the doors close, automatic tank fill handles morning startup, and a single point electrical connection makes hookup straightforward. Should your layout change, a conversion kit makes the straight-through design field convertible to a corner setup. The top mounted watertight control box gives you a rack counter, extended wash/delime switch, and easy to read temperature gauges at a glance, and the machine ships with one open rack and one peg rack.
