The CMA Dishmachines 180-TS Pot and Pan Washer
The CMA Dishmachines 180-TS is a high temperature split-door pot and pan dishwasher in a straight-through configuration, passing racks in one side and out the other along an inline dish line. With 27 inches of dish clearance it takes sheet pans on edge, stock pots, and hotel pans that would never fit a standard door machine, while the split doors keep total open height to 93-1/2 inches for kitchens short on ceiling. Rated at 60 racks per hour with a 180°F sanitizing rinse, it gives bakeries, caterers, and high-volume kitchens one 25-1/2 inch wide machine for everything from dinner plates to dough-crusted mixing bowls.
Split-Door Design with a 27-Inch Clearance
Split doors are the trick that makes this machine work under a normal ceiling. Each door folds in two sections as it opens, so the 180-TS offers a 27 inch dish clearance while the open-door height tops out at just 93-1/2 inches. A conventional tall-door machine with this much clearance would need substantially more overhead room to swing its doors. Full sheet pans stand upright in the 20 by 20 inch rack, stock pots ride through whole, and the 20-1/2 inch door opening still loads as easily as a standard dish machine.
Sixty Racks an Hour at 0.82 Gallons per Rack
Throughput matches CMA's standard door machines: 60 racks or 240 covers per hour on a 58-second cycle of 42 seconds wash, 12 seconds rinse, and a 4-second dwell. The difference is muscle. A 1 HP motor drives the pump at 68 gallons per minute, extra flow that helps strip baked-on and greasy soil from pans that would laugh off a lighter machine. Water use holds at 0.82 gallons per rack and 49.2 gallons per hour flat out, so washing your heaviest wares does not carry a heavy utility bill.
180°F Sanitizing Rinse with Safety Temp
The Safety Temp feature assures a 180°F sanitizing rinse on every cycle, sanitizing with heat rather than the chlorine chemicals a low temperature machine depends on. Supplied without a booster, the machine requires 180°F incoming water; the optional built-in 12 kW booster lets it sanitize from a 120°F to 140°F supply instead. An 8 gallon wash tank holds a minimum 155°F to 160°F, heated by a built-in chemical resistant industrial 7 kW element that shrugs off the detergent concentrations pot washing demands.
Soil Purging, Pull-Pin Arms, and a Delime Switch
Pot washing generates more debris than plate washing, and the automatic soil purging system is built for it: wash water is filtered continuously and debris collects in an external tray that pulls out for dumping in seconds. Interchangeable upper and lower spray arms release with a pull-pin, no tools, for quick rinse-outs at the sink. When hard water leaves scale behind, the built-in delime switch handles descaling on the spot, and CMA recommends water softened to 3.5 grains per gallon or less. Auto start/stop, automatic fill, a single point electrical connection, and a top mounted watertight control box with rack counter and temperature gauges round out the package, and the straight-through design is field convertible to a corner setup if your layout changes. Two racks come included.
