CMA Dishmachines AH 26 In. Low Temperature Straight Door Type Dishwasher, 40 Racks/Hour, Built-In Chemical Pumps

SKUAH BrandCMA Dishmachines

The CMA Dishmachines AH Door-Type Dishwasher

The CMA Dishmachines AH is a low temperature, chemical sanitizing door type dishwasher with a straight-thru design that turns out 40 racks, or 160 covers, per hour. It fits diners, cafes, and smaller restaurant dishrooms where bus tubs stack up fast after a lunch rush and the machine has to keep pace on an ordinary 115V circuit. Because sanitizing happens chemically rather than with a scalding thermal rinse, the AH needs only 120°F incoming water and produces no steam, so your dishroom stays cooler and no booster heater stands between you and clean plates.

Low Temperature Chemical Sanitizing

High temperature machines lean on booster heaters and heavy electrical service to reach a thermal final rinse; the AH sanitizes with chemicals at a required 120°F water temperature, with 140°F recommended for best results. It draws 16 amps on a 115V connection, the kind of service most dishrooms already have in the wall. Each 90 second cycle runs a 45 second wash, a 30 second rinse, and a 15 second dwell, using 1.7 gallons of water per rack and 68 gallons per hour at full pace.

Built-In Chemical Pumps and Deliming System

Top mounted controls keep the built-in chemical pumps and their priming switches at eye level, so detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer feed at the proper rates without an outboard dispenser hanging off the wall. When hard water starts leaving scale on the tank and wash arms, you flip the delimer switch and run a deliming cycle instead of scrubbing mineral film by hand. CMA recommends softened water at 3.5 grains per gallon or less to keep results consistent, and auto start/stop makes the machine simple enough for any crew member to run on night one.

Stainless Steel Construction Inside and Out

The cabinet, the upper and lower wash arms, and even the pump impeller are stainless steel, so the parts that live in hot detergent water resist corrosion year after year. Reinforced end caps protect the wash arms from rack strikes, and a pull-pin design lets the closing crew drop the arms out for rinsing without hunting for tools. Behind them, a 1 HP motor drives a 52 GPM pump with enough force to work over a fully loaded 20 inch by 20 inch rack during the 45 second wash.

Pump Purging and Scrap Control

A pump purging system flushes soil and chemical carryover out of the pump during the rinse, so the last rack of a long shift rinses as clean as the first one of the day. Food scraps land in the Poly Pro scrap accumulator before they can reach the drain, and a built-in strainer on the water inlet keeps line debris out of the water valve. Two dishracks are included, one open and one peg, and the 20-1/2 inch door opening accepts ware up to the 17 inch dish clearance.

Features & Benefits

  1. Built for diners, cafes, and small restaurant dishrooms that need to clear a steady flow of bus tubs at up to 40 racks and 160 covers per hour.
  2. The straight-thru design passes racks in one side and out the other, so it drops into a standard inline dishtable run with a soiled side and a clean side.
  3. Low temperature chemical sanitizing works with 120°F incoming water, so there is no booster heater to buy, power, or maintain, and no steam in the dishroom.
  4. All stainless steel construction, from the cabinet to the pump impeller, stands up to years of hot detergent water without corroding.
  5. Upper and lower stainless steel wash arms carry reinforced end caps and release on a pull-pin design, so the closing crew can remove them for cleaning without tools.
  6. Top mounted controls include built-in chemical pumps with priming switches, letting detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer feed automatically at the proper rates.
  7. A delimer switch runs the deliming system to strip hard-water scale before it dulls wash performance.
  8. Auto start/stop operation keeps cycles consistent and makes the machine safe and easy for any crew member to run.
  9. The pump purging system clears soil and chemical carryover out of the pump during the rinse cycle, so rinse water stays clean rack after rack.
  10. A Poly Pro scrap accumulator traps food soil before it can reach and clog the drain line.
  11. The water inlet includes a built-in strainer that keeps supply-line debris from fouling the water valve.
  12. Two 20 inch by 20 inch dishracks, one open and one peg, are included so plates and glassware both have a home from day one.
  13. Available options include the Temp-Sure heater for a continuous 140°F hot water supply, a low chemical alarm, stainless steel dishtables, a slant shelf, alternative cycle times, and alternative power configurations.
