CMA Dishmachines E-3D-EXT 26 In. Low Temperature 3-Door Straight-Thru Dishwasher, 40 Racks/Hour, Power Drain, Built-In Chemical Pumps

SKUE-3D-EXT BrandCMA Dishmachines

The CMA Dishmachines E-3D-EXT Door-Type Dishwasher

The CMA Dishmachines E-3D-EXT is a low temperature, energy saving door type dishwasher built with a three door, straight-thru design and an extended height opening, rated at 40 racks, or 160 covers, per hour on just 1.01 gallons of water per rack. It suits restaurants, bars, and cafeterias that push tall ware like sheet pans and stockpots through a single rack machine all day. Chemical sanitizing at a required 120°F water temperature keeps the whole unit on a 115V, 16 amp circuit, so your dishroom skips the booster heater and the steam that comes with a high temperature machine.

Three Door Straight-Thru Design

Doors on three sides of the wash chamber open it up from the front as well as both pass-through sides, so the crew can clear a snagged rack, check a wash arm, or wipe down the tank without crawling through a single opening. Racks travel straight through on a standard inline dishtable run, soiled side to clean side. Every door rides in the extended height wrapper, giving a 20-1/2 inch opening that swallows mixing bowls and trays a standard door machine turns away; with the doors raised, total height reaches 80-1/2 inches on a 25-3/4 inch by 25-3/4 inch footprint.

Low Temperature Chemical Sanitizing

Where high temperature machines depend on a booster heater to hit a thermal rinse, the E-3D-EXT sanitizes chemically with 120°F incoming water, 140°F recommended for best results. The 90 second cycle breaks into a 45 second wash, 30 second rinse, and 15 second dwell, with a 1 HP motor driving 52 gallons per minute through upper and lower stainless steel wash arms. At 1.01 gallons per rack and 40.4 gallons per hour, it also holds down the water and chemical cost of every load you run.

Power Drain and Scrap Management

A power drain pumps the machine out quickly instead of waiting on gravity, keeping turnaround tight between cycles and during end-of-night cleanup. Food soil collects in the Poly Pro scrap accumulator before it can reach the drain line, and a built-in strainer at the water inlet keeps supply-side debris out of the water valve. An airgap fill system protects the incoming line as the tank refills.

Built-In Chemical Pumps and Deliming System

Top mounted controls house built-in chemical pumps that meter detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer automatically, along with a deliming system for the scale hard water leaves on the tank and arms; CMA recommends softening the supply to 3.5 grains per gallon or less. Auto start/stop runs the cycle the same way every time, whoever loads the rack. Construction is all stainless steel, so the surfaces that spend their lives in hot detergent water hold up year after year.

Features & Benefits

  1. Built for restaurants, bars, and cafeterias that run 40 racks and 160 covers per hour and need tall ware to pass through a single rack door machine.
  2. The three door, straight-thru design opens the wash chamber from the front and both pass-through sides, making rack handling and interior cleanup far easier than a single door layout.
  3. An extended 20-1/2 inch door opening clears sheet pans, stockpots, and mixing bowls along with the plateware.
  4. Energy saving operation uses just 1.01 gallons of water per rack, cutting water, chemical, and water-heating costs on every cycle.
  5. Low temperature chemical sanitizing works with 120°F incoming water, so no booster heater is needed and no steam enters the room.
  6. A power drain empties the machine quickly between cycles and at closing time.
  7. All stainless steel construction resists corrosion through years of daily service.
  8. Upper and lower stainless steel wash arms distribute the 52 GPM output of the 1 HP pump across the full rack.
  9. Top mounted controls include built-in chemical pumps that feed detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer automatically at the proper rates.
  10. A deliming system dissolves hard-water scale before it dulls wash performance.
  11. Auto start/stop operation keeps cycles consistent and safe for any crew member to run.
  12. An airgap fill system protects the incoming water supply.
  13. A Poly Pro scrap accumulator traps food soil ahead of the drain, and the water inlet's built-in strainer keeps debris out of the water valve.
  14. Available options include a Temp-Sure water heater, low chemical alarm, solid/powder dual bowl dispenser, stainless steel tables, slant shelf, alternative cycle times, and alternative power configurations.
