The Cookline CGG-36T-HD Gas Griddle
The Cookline CGG-36T-HD is a 36 inch heavy-duty countertop gas griddle with thermostatic controls, built for diners, burger operations, and breakfast lines where the flat top runs from open to close. Three burners put 90,000 BTU under a 1 inch thick polished plate, giving you the stored heat to drop a dozen frozen patties without watching the surface temperature collapse.
Thermostatic Control From 200°F to 500°F
Each burner has its own thermostat that holds the plate at a set temperature in 50°F steps across a 200°F to 500°F range. That is the practical difference from a manual griddle: eggs at the low end, smash burgers at the high end, and neither drifts as the load changes, because the thermostat feeds gas only when the plate actually needs it. Cool-to-the-touch fiberglass nylon knobs stay handleable even after hours over a hot plate.
1 Inch Polished Griddle Plate
The polished 35.7 by 22.45 inch cooking surface releases eggs and pancakes more cleanly than a rough mill finish and scrapes down faster between orders. A full inch of plate thickness evens out hot spots over the U-shaped burners and holds recovery heat, so the third batch sears like the first.
Three U-Shaped Burners at 90,000 BTU
Steel U-shaped burners rated at 30,000 BTU each spread flame across the whole underside of the plate rather than a narrow stripe. A stainless steel standby pilot fires them instantly, and the pilot adjustment screws are reachable without pulling panels when the unit needs tuning.
Grease Management and Cleanup
A grease channel across the front pulls runoff into a stainless steel collector at the bottom of the unit, and a splash guard wraps three sides to keep grease off the wall and neighboring stations. At close, the stainless steel front and sides wipe down fast, and adjustable heavy-duty legs level the plate so oil does not pool to one corner.
Gas Supply and Conversion
The griddle ships set for natural gas with a gas regulator in the box, and the included liquid propane conversion kit switches it over in the field. The connection is a 3/4 inch NPT fitting at the rear.
