Three half barrels chill, store, and pour from one 68 inch cabinet: a single faucet draft arm covers one keg while a dual faucet arm covers the other two, so three beers stay on tap with beer traveling inches from keg to glass instead of through long remote lines. Both fully insulated draft arms and their matching air distributors ship on the unit rather than as add-ons, and a digital controller holds the cabinet anywhere from 33°F to 54°F, factory preset at 35°F.

The condensing unit is a side mounted, self-contained Blizzard R290 cartridge that is fully detachable and replaceable in the field with no on-site brazing. Unlike a conventional sealed system repair that can park your draft program while a refrigeration tech opens the circuit, a cartridge swap gets the beer pouring again the same visit. The cartridge runs EPA-compliant R290 refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of three.

Electronically commutated fan motors pull the cabinet down to temperature quickly while drawing less energy, and a full-length air duct keeps cold air circulating around the kegs instead of pooling at the floor. The defrost cycle is time-initiated and temperature-terminated, so it runs itself, and condensate evaporates from a self-maintaining drain pan with no external drain or electric heater. The kegs load through two full solid doors with textured laminate, black vinyl exteriors and galvanized steel interiors, insulated with 1 3/4 inches of high density polyurethane. The EBD3-24 is a refrigerator only, with a floor of 33°F, and three half barrels is its ceiling: the 24 inch depth class continues with the four keg EBD4-24 and steps down to the two keg EBD2-24 and the 49 inch EBDS2-24, while the standard 27 inch deep EBD3 trades 2 1/2 inches of aisle for 4 more cubic feet of interior. This cabinet runs 68 inches long by 24 1/2 inches deep and needs 46 1/2 inches of clear depth with a door open. Power is ordinary: 115V at 3.5 amps through a 9 foot cord and a standard NEMA 5-15P plug, with a floor drain the only other site requirement.
