The Everest ESGRH4 is the four half door variant of Everest's ES Series glass door reach-in lineup, built for busy two-station lines and grab-heavy beverage programs where every opening should vent a quarter of the cabinet, not half of it. Four low emissivity double pane glass half doors cover one open 48 cubic foot interior with eight adjustable wire shelves, so staff see stock levels through the glass and each grab spills the least possible cold air. At 49 5/8 inches wide and under 32 inches deep, the cabinet holds the same wall line as your worktables, and the full stainless steel body keeps it a working reach-in rather than a lightweight merchandiser.

Slide-Out Blizzard R290 Cartridge that Swaps without On-Site Brazing

The condensing unit is a top mounted, self-contained Blizzard R290 cartridge that is fully detachable and replaceable in the field with no on-site brazing. Unlike a conventional sealed system repair that can park a cabinet out of service while a refrigeration tech opens the circuit, a cartridge swap gets the box back to work the same visit. The cartridge runs natural R290 refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of three.

Electronically commutated fan motors pull the cabinet to temperature quickly while drawing less power, and the auto defrost cycle starts on a timer and ends on temperature, so it runs only as long as the coil needs. The condensate pan maintains itself with no external drain line or electric heater, which is one less floor penetration in your install. An auto-reverse condenser fan supports compressor ventilation and helps keep the condenser coil clean between cleanings, and pressure relief devices let staff re-open a just-closed door instead of waiting out the vacuum.

Four Low-E Double Pane Glass Half Doors in Matte Aluminum Frames

Each door's low emissivity double glass panes reflect UV rays, so the compressor is not fighting radiant heat through the glass the way it would behind single panes, and the matte finish aluminum frames keep the doors light without giving up rigidity. All four doors self-close through adjustable torsion systems for a positive seal and carry high strength die-cast handles. Frame heaters prevent exterior moisture build up on humid days, and the snap-in magnetic gaskets pop out for cleaning or replacement without tools.

Inside there are no dividing walls, just one open compartment with eight epoxy coated steel wire shelves on height adjustable stainless steel clips, four behind each door column, so the half doors split the access, not the storage. The interior and exterior are heavy duty stainless steel with rounded corners that will not snag knuckles or towels, the top, bottom and rear are galvanized steel, and 2.5 inch high density polyurethane insulation fills the cabinet walls. A full-length air duct and airflow guard keep cold air moving through the whole cavity, and shielded LED bar lighting with its own on/off switch gives bright, high color illumination at low heat output, which matters on a glass door unit where the interior doubles as a display. The cabinet rolls on four 5 inch swivel casters with locks on the front set.

A multi-function digital controller with an easy to read LED display ships factory preset at 35°F and adjusts anywhere from 33°F to 54°F. An audible overheat alarm watches the compressor and condenser coil and sounds before a developing problem turns into lost product. Everest backs the unit with 3 year parts and labor, 5 year electrical, and 10 year compressor coverage, supported through its service agent network.

If the stock configuration does not match your line, Everest offers additional shelving, a gravity shelf and bottle organizer, 3 inch locking swivel casters in place of the standard 5 inch set, and height adjustable interchangeable legs from 3.5 to 6 inches.

Keep in mind this is a refrigerator only, holding 33°F to 54°F, and unlike the full door glass models this half door version does not come with door locks, so it belongs where staff access is constant rather than where stock sits unattended overnight. Frequent small grabs across two stations are its strength; loading tall or bulky product through full-height openings favors the two full glass door cabinet on the same 49 5/8 inch footprint. Power is a standard 115V connection on a 9 foot cord, with no dedicated high-voltage circuit needed.
