The Excellence Industries EURO-16HC Ice Cream Display Freezer
The Excellence Industries EURO-16HC is the largest cabinet in the EURO line: ten 3-gallon cans on display, eight more in storage, and 15.5 cubic feet of total capacity across a 59 3/8 inch wide footprint. It is sized for the parlor or high-volume concession stand where the flavor list is the menu, and where running out of a flavor mid-shift costs real sales.
Built to Hold -15°F for Hard-Packed Ice Cream
Hand-dipped ice cream lives or dies at the right serving temperature, and this cabinet is built around that job. The thermostat runs from -15°F up to +5°F, cold enough to keep hard-packed product scoop-stable under constant lid traffic. A dual condensing system shares the refrigeration load instead of leaning on a single coil, and the circuit pairs environmentally friendly R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 1/4 HP compressor drawing just 1.5 running amps on a standard 115 volt outlet.
Sliding Glass Lids That Sell While They Insulate
The single layer heat reflective glass lids do two jobs at once. Customers see the flavors from across the room, which sells more scoops than any menu board, and the heat reflective treatment bounces radiant heat away from the well so the compressor is not fighting the ceiling lights. Unlike solid steel tops, glass keeps impulse product moving even when no one is behind the counter to pitch it.
Ten Cans on Display, Eight More in Storage
The well is laid out for 10 3-gallon cans at display level with 8 more staged below, so backup flavors temper in the same cabinet instead of a back-room freezer. Add the optional 3 section hanging baskets to merchandise wrapped novelties above the cans, or the 3 gallon can holder kit to reconfigure the layout as your flavor list changes. A lid lock is available for cabinets that sit on a sales floor overnight.
Painted Steel Interior on Standard Casters
The interior is painted steel that shrugs off daily can swaps and cleaning, and the whole cabinet rolls on standard casters with two that lock. One person can pull it away from the wall for condenser cleaning or roll it to the patio window for the summer season, then lock it back in place without tools.
