The Hydra-Kool KGV-MD-2-R is a two-door high volume grab-and-go merchandiser designed for remote condensing unit installation. Forced Air Cooling with Hinged Glass Doors and Night Curtain
Each door section uses a hinged tempered glass door that swings open for customer self-service and swings shut to help maintain cabinet temperature between pulls. Five adjustable shelves per door section give you flexibility to set shelf heights based on product size, whether you are stocking tall beverage bottles on the bottom or short yogurt cups near the top. All shelves can be tilted to angle products forward for better visibility, and product stops on every shelf keep items from sliding to the back.
A retractable night curtain pulls down across the open face after hours, reducing cold air loss overnight and lowering energy consumption when the store is closed. Temperature and defrost cycles are managed by a digital controller, so you set your target once and the system maintains it automatically. The forced air refrigeration system circulates cold air evenly across all shelf levels, keeping products within the 33 to 40 degree Fahrenheit holding range from top to bottom.
LED Lighting and Multiplexable Construction
LED strips in the canopy and under each shelf illuminate every level of the display without adding significant heat to the cabinet. That consistent, cool lighting keeps product labels readable and colors accurate, which matters when customers are choosing between similar items at a glance. The silver PVC-coated steel front panel and foamed polystyrene black end panels give the case a clean, commercial appearance that works in grocery aisles, convenience stores, and institutional cafeterias.
