The IKON IRB-12 is a 12-inch gas radiant broiler that delivers 70,000 BTU total through 1 U-shaped burner rated at 35,000 BTU each. The U-shape design distributes heat evenly across every 12 inches of cooking surface, so you get consistent searing and char marks whether you are working steaks on the left side or chicken on the right. Heavy 10-gauge cast iron radiants absorb and radiate that heat back up through the grates, giving you the intense infrared output that puts a proper crust on proteins without drying them out.
Three-Position Cast Iron Grates with Front-Lit Pilot
The cast iron cooking grates adjust to three height positions above the radiants, which lets you control intensity without touching the gas valves. Drop the grate close for a hard sear on steaks, raise it for slower cooking on thicker cuts or delicate items like fish. Each burner has its own adjustable pilot light that you light from the front of the unit, so there is no reaching over hot grates to get the unit started. Adjustable manual gas controls give you a knob for every 12 inches of cooking width, and a rear gas regulator keeps pressure consistent.
Double-Wall Insulated Stainless Steel Cabinet
