Manitowoc IRT1900N 1780 lb Indigo NXT Regular Cube Modular Ice Machine Head, Remote Condenser Sold Separately

SKUIRT1900N BrandManitowoc

The Manitowoc IRT1900N Modular Full Cube Ice Machine Head

The Manitowoc IRT1900N is the remote-cooled version of the Indigo NXT banquet-scale regular cube head, built for hotels and venues that want tons of weekly ice without dumping condenser heat and fan noise into the building. The head connects by refrigerant line-set to a Manitowoc JCT1500 condensing unit mounted outside, and both the condenser and line-set are sold separately, so plan them into the project from the start. With the heat rejected outdoors it produces up to 1,780 lb of regular cubes in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water and 1,545 lb at the 90°F air and 70°F water rating, at 4.26 kWh per 100 lb of ice. It stores nothing on board and matches the 48 in. D970 bin, also sold separately; operations without a roof or wall route for the line-set are better served by the self-contained IRT1900A. Plan the install around a 208-230V circuit in single or three phase, a 3/8 in. water line, a 1/2 in. drain, and a licensed refrigeration contractor for the remote hookup.

Regular Cubes Sized for Slow Melt in the Glass

This head produces Manitowoc's regular cube, a 1 1/8 in. x 1 1/8 in. x 7/8 in. block that melts slower than smaller dice in a glass, a display bed, or a banquet cooler, and packs cleanly for bagging. Production is rated at 1,780 lb per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water and 1,545 lb at 90°F air and 70°F water, so you can size the machine from the hot-kitchen number instead of the best-case number. The same Indigo NXT platform also builds dice and half dice cubes in sibling models, so the whole ice program can standardize on one control scheme.

EasyTouch Display With Programmable Ice Production

An icon-based easyTouch touchscreen on the front panel runs daily operation in any of 13 languages, with a date and time stamp, reminder and alert icons, one-touch asset information, and automatic detection of accessories. Programmable ice production lets you idle the machine during expensive daytime electric rates, cap output by daily volume, or schedule night production so the bin is full before the first shift arrives.

Acoustical Ice Sensing Probe With Intelligent Diagnostics

Manitowoc's patented acoustical ice sensing probe keeps harvests reliable in challenging water conditions and environments, and Active Sense software works with the probe to hold consistent harvests as conditions swing. Intelligent diagnostics run 24 hour preventative maintenance and diagnostic feedback in the background, so problems surface as alerts on the display before they become down days waiting on a service call.

DuraTech Exterior With an AlphaSan-Protected Food Zone

The DuraTech exterior pairs corrosion resistance beyond stainless steel with a clear-coat that resists fingerprints and dirt between wipe-downs. For cleaning, the easy-access front panel lifts away and the removable water trough, distribution tube, curtain, and sensing probes come out for fast, thorough food zone work, with select components made from AlphaSan antimicrobial material. The optional LuminIce II inhibitor controls viruses, bacteria, mold, and yeast inside the food zone and reports its status through a sanitation icon on the display.

Modular Head Matched to Manitowoc Storage Bins

As a modular head, it sits on a Manitowoc storage bin sold separately: D970 (882 lb). Combined height runs 79.50 in. on D970 with bin legs set at 6 in. Supporting accessories round out the program: Arctic Pure Plus filtration cuts sediment and chlorine contaminants down to .5 microns ahead of the machine, the iAuCS accessory schedules and performs routine cleanings automatically, and an external scoop holder keeps the scoop clean and off the bin floor.
