The Manitowoc SFA292 Ice and Water Dispenser
The Manitowoc SFA292 is a floor-standing hotel dispenser that puts guest ice and water service on one station, with a touchless lever so the bucket or glass opens the chute and no hand ever touches the machine. It stores 180 lb of dice or half-dice ice beneath a platform that accepts a 22 in. or 30 in. wide Manitowoc ice machine, sold separately, and the built-in water valve fills glasses and pitchers at the same spot, so a guest floor stays supplied through evening rushes while a paired Indigo NXT machine can be programmed to shut down overnight as guests sleep. If your property does not need water at the ice station, the SPA312 is the ice-only version of this cabinet, and operations that want 120 lb of reserve should look at the SFA192 instead; this unit dispenses and stores ice but does not make it. Plan on a standard 115V outlet for the 6 ft cord, a water line for the valve and the machine above, and a nearby drain; the dispenser itself needs no minimum clearance.
Touchless Lever Dispensing with a Built-In Water Valve
Pressing an ice bucket or glass against the lever opens the chute, so guests never touch the machine with a hand, a hygiene point that matters in a shared vending alcove. The chute sits 9.5 in. above the grate, enough to clear standard ice buckets, and the built-in water valve dispenses water at the same station, sparing guests a second stop at a fountain.
Built-In Agitator and Oversized Drain Pan
Stored ice bridges and clumps as it sits between guest visits; the built-in agitator keeps the 180 lb reserve loose so the dispenser delivers 100 percent of what it stores instead of leaving a frozen mass at the bottom. The oversized drain pan collects a larger quantity of overflow ice, so spilled cubes melt into the drain rather than onto the corridor floor.
DuraTech Stainless Exterior with Clear-Coat Finish
The DuraTech exterior resists the corrosion that shortens the life of cabinets parked beside humid ice machines and mop-washed floors, and the clear-coated stainless finish sheds the fingerprints and dirt a guest-facing dispenser collects every day. The cabinet measures 30.00 in. wide by 32.00 in. deep and stands 60.50 in. tall on its 6 in. legs, rising to about 82.00 in. with an ice machine mounted on top.
Indigo NXT Compatibility with Overnight Scheduling
The top platform accepts a 22 in. or 30 in. wide Manitowoc ice machine in dice or half-dice configuration, ordered separately; Manitowoc recommends Indigo NXT models such as the iT0300, iT0450, iT0500, and iT0750 series. Mounting a 22 in. machine on this 30 in. platform requires the K-00365 adapter and K-00348 baffle. With an Indigo NXT machine on top, you can program production to stop during set hours, so the machine rests while guests sleep and rebuilds the reserve before morning. The machine's water, drain, and water-cooled condenser connections route through the cabinet, and accessories such as the LuminIce II virus and bacteria inhibitor and Arctic Pure Plus water filters serve the machine above.
115V Cord Connection and Front Service Access
The dispenser runs on a standard 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase circuit through a 6 ft cord with a three-prong plug, and the permanently lubricated agitator motor draws a maximum of 1.6 amps, so the electrical work is an outlet, not a dedicated hookup. The dispenser door removes easily for access to internal components, and with no minimum clearance required for the dispenser itself, placement follows the ice machine's airflow needs rather than the cabinet's.
