Manitowoc UDE0080A 110 lb NEO Undercounter Ice Machine, 31 lb Bin Storage, Air-Cooled, Dice Cubes

SKUUDE0080A BrandManitowoc

The Manitowoc UDE0080A Undercounter Cube Ice Machine

The Manitowoc UDE0080A is the higher-output model of the NEO 65/80 undercounter pair, built for operations that empty an undercounter bin faster than an entry model can refill it but still cannot spare the floor space for a modular machine and bin. It produces up to 110 lb of dice ice per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, nearly double the UDE0065A from the same cabinet size, and holds 31 lb in the insulated bin below, so a busy service bar keeps scooping through the rush while the machine rebuilds the reserve behind it. It is also the more efficient of the two, drawing 11.13 kWh per 100 lb of ice versus 19.1 for the smaller model. If your volume outruns a 31 lb bin even with this recovery rate, a modular machine with a floor bin is the right format instead. Plan on a standard 115V outlet, a 3/8 in. water line, and a drain; the flat right-angle plug and front-breathing airflow let it slide into tight spots a rear-vented cabinet cannot use.

Ice Maker and 31 lb Bin in One 19.69 In. Wide Cabinet

The cabinet measures 19.69 in. wide by 22.34 in. deep by 30 in. tall, and the legs adjust from 6.00 in. to 7.25 in. to level the machine and tuck it under a standard counter. Instead of coordinating a separate ice maker head and storage bin, you get both in one stainless steel cabinet with an easy-access door that slides up and out of the way, so a bartender can scoop one-handed in a narrow aisle. The dice cube measures 7/8 in. square, a shape that packs tight in glassware and melts slowly in beverage service.

Front Air Intake and Exhaust with No Minimum Clearance

Air comes in the left front and exits the right front, with no side vents, so the machine runs correctly even when it is boxed in by cabinetry or standing equipment on both sides. Manitowoc requires no minimum clearance on the top, sides, or back, though 5 in. is recommended where you can spare it. The U-80 also carries wider operating limits than its smaller sibling, holding spec from 40°F to 110°F ambient and down to 33°F incoming water, which matters in outbuildings and back rooms that swing with the seasons.

Seamless Rotocast Bin Liner with AlphaSan Protection

The bin liner is one-piece rotocast polyethylene with no seams to trap meltwater or harbor buildup, surrounded by foamed-in-place CFC-free insulation that slows melt between pulls. AlphaSan antimicrobial protection is built into key internal components to extend the time between cleanings, and Manitowoc's patented cleaning and sanitizing technology shortens the routine when it is due. The proprietary vertical evaporator is the same design approach Manitowoc uses across its commercial line.

Slide-Out Air Filter and Up-Front Selector Switch

The reusable air filter slides out from the left front without tools, so whoever closes the kitchen can rinse it and keep the condenser clear of grease and lint rather than waiting for a service call. Ice, off, and clean operations run from a simple selector switch on the front of the machine; you never remove a panel for day-to-day operation. A 1/4 HP compressor and R-134A refrigerant system draw just 5.2 amps on a 115/60/1 circuit with a 6 ft cord and standard plug.
