It produces up to 62 lb of dice ice per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and the 31 lb bin below the evaporator keeps a working reserve ready, so a coffee bar or wait station can scoop through a shift instead of hauling ice from the back of the house. It is right-sized for operations that scoop steadily rather than by the bucket; the sibling UDP0080A makes nearly double the daily ice from the same cabinet, and the 26 in. wide NEO models carry 90 lb bins when storage is the constraint. Plan on a standard 115V outlet, a 3/4 in. water connection, and a drain; the front-breathing cabinet slides into spots a rear-vented machine cannot use, and the whole unit stands just 36 in. tall on its adjustable legs.

The cabinet measures 19.69 in. wide by 22.34 in. deep by 30 in. tall before its legs, which adjust from 6 in. to 7.25 in. to level the machine under a standard counter. Instead of coordinating a separate ice maker head and storage bin, you get both in one stainless steel cabinet with 3.99 cu ft of interior volume, and a plastic ice scoop ships standard so the station serves from day one. The dice cube measures 7/8 in. square, a shape that packs tight in glassware and melts slowly in beverage service.

Front Air Intake and Exhaust with No Minimum Clearance

Air enters and exhausts through the front of the cabinet, so the machine runs correctly even when it is boxed in by cabinetry or standing equipment on both sides. Manitowoc requires no minimum clearance at the top, sides, or back, though 5 in. is recommended where the floor plan can spare it, and the unit is rated for indoor installation only. Operating limits run from 50°F to 100°F ambient with incoming water from 50°F to 90°F, which covers a typical conditioned kitchen or bar.

Heat rejection runs 1,600 BTU/hr average and 2,350 BTU/hr peak, low enough to add little heat load to a small service area. Expect 12.84 kWh and 66.88 gal of potable water per 100 lb of ice at the 90°F/70°F rating point, with a 15 amp maximum fuse size and HACR-type circuit breakers acceptable in place of fuses.

Slide-Out Air Filter and Up-Front Selector Switch

The reusable air filter slides out from the left front without tools, so whoever closes the bar can rinse it and keep the condenser clear of lint, grease, and dust rather than waiting for a service call. On, off, and clean operations run from a simple selector switch on the front of the machine that is easy to see and reach; you never remove a panel for day-to-day operation. This model does not accept the LuminIce II growth inhibitor or the iAuCS automatic cleaning accessory, so plan on the standard manual cleaning routine.
