Manitowoc USP0100A 100 lb Square Cube Ice Machine, 38 lb Bin Storage, Air-Cooled, Crystal-Clear 1 In. Cubes, Space-Saving Design

SKUUSP0100A BrandManitowoc

The Manitowoc USP0100A Undercounter Cube Ice Machine

The Manitowoc USP0100A is the volume model in Manitowoc's space-saving square cube line, built for bars and beverage operations that pour premium drinks at real pace rather than a few showcase cocktails a night. It produces up to 100 lb of crystal-clear square cube ice per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water and holds 38 lb, roughly 868 cubes, in the bin below, so the bartender scoops from reserve while the machine rebuilds behind the door. The 1 in. square cube adds to the presentation of the drink and differentiates it from the competition across the back bar. It is sized for steady beverage service from a compact floor plan; an operation hauling bulk ice to wells and buffet pans belongs on a modular machine over a floor bin instead. Plan on a standard 115V outlet, a 3/8 in. NPT water inlet, a 1/2 in. NPT drain, and clearance of 2 in. at the sides and top with 8 in. at the back for the front-to-back airflow.

100 lb Daily Production with a 38 lb Bin Holding 868 Ready Cubes

At 70°F air and 50°F water the machine produces up to 100 lb of square cube ice per 24 hours, and it still delivers 88 lb per day at the tougher 90°F air and 70°F water rating point, the condition that looks a lot more like a working bar in August than a test lab. The bin holds 38 lb of finished cubes, roughly 868 pieces ready to serve, deep enough that a rush draws down the reserve instead of outrunning the machine. Utility draw runs 9.62 kWh and 55.4 gallons of potable water per 100 lb of ice at the 90°F/70°F rating.

Crystal-Clear 1 In. Square Cubes for Premium Drink Presentation

Each crystal clear cube is a true 1 in. square, a format that reads as a premium pour the moment the glass hits the rail and sets your drinks apart from the crushed-and-cloudy ice at the bar down the street. Square cubes also stack cleanly in a rocks glass, so the pour sits on ice instead of around it. You get the presentation of specialty ice from the same machine that covers the whole night's volume.

Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Cabinet on Adjustable 4.50 In. to 6.00 In. Bin Legs

The heavy duty stainless steel cabinet resists corrosion through years of splash and mop-water exposure, the failure mode that rusts out lighter housings in a working bar. The footprint measures 19.68 in. wide by 22.83 in. deep by 37.50 in. tall with the included 6 in. bin legs at full height, and the legs adjust from 4.50 in. to 6.00 in. to level the machine and keep cleaning access underneath. An ice scoop ships standard, so the bin goes into service the day the machine lands.

R290 Refrigerant with a 1/3 HP Compressor and Front-to-Back Airflow

A 1/3 HP compressor runs on R290 refrigerant and rejects 2,350 BTU per hour on average and 3,637 at peak, so build the 2 in. side and top clearances and 8 in. back clearance into the layout and the condenser stays happy. Air enters at the front and exhausts out the back with no side vents, which lets equipment stand directly alongside. The machine comes factory pre-wired with a 6 ft cord and NEMA 5-15P plug, drawing 10 amps total on a 115/60/1 circuit with a 15 amp maximum fuse, and it holds spec from 50°F to 110°F ambient with 40°F to 90°F incoming water at 20 to 80 psi.
