The Omcan 11434 Hamburger Patty Press
This Trento top-down patty press forms 4 inch patties with a downward pull of its lever on an upright body. It is built for fast food establishments, restaurants, and any fast-paced kitchen, and it treats beef, chicken, turkey, and veggie blends all the same way: lay a cellophane disc in the mold, add the portion, cover it, pull the lever down, then return the lever and lift out a finished patty. The press is hand operated, so it needs counter space rather than an outlet, but plan for the height: it stands 19.68 inches tall with the lever up, so check the clearance where it will sit. It weighs 11 pounds.
Top-Down Stroke for Uniform 4-Inch Patties
Pull the lever up, press the button to lower the ejector plate inside the patty mold, and lay one of the cellophane discs from the built-in bowl on the plate. Add the ground product, never more than the mold holds, and cover it with a second disc. Pull the lever down and press gently to squeeze the meat, then return the lever and remove the patty. Repeat for the next one. The result is a uniform 4 inch patty each time.
Food-Grade Stainless Steel on Every Meat Contact Surface
Every part of the press that touches the product is food-grade stainless steel. The body is anodized aluminum alloy, which is resistant to acids, salts and oxidation, and the construction is rugged.
Footprint and Height
The base measures 10.24 inches wide by 6.89 inches deep, and the press overall is 14.56 inches wide, 9.84 inches deep and 19.68 inches tall. The unit is simple to operate and easy to clean after a raw meat session.
Cellophane Press Papers Under Item 11427
Cellophane press papers sized for the 4 inch mold (100 mm) are available separately under item 11427, and the press has a bowl that stores the discs within reach. A disc goes under and over each portion as it is pressed. Omcan also lists 4 inch solid round patty paper (item 47489) and 4 inch perforated round patty paper (item 44431) as accessories for this press.
