This Omcan pedestal hand sink is a floor-standing hand wash station: a 16 x 13-3/4 inch bowl, 5-3/4 inches deep, on a 34 inch pedestal, with a foot pedal control valve running the water so hands stay off the faucet. The faucet, foot valve and drain come with the sink. The unit stands 41-3/4 inches tall overall and reaches 21-1/4 inches front to back at the rim, on a base 13-3/4 inches wide by 18 inches deep.

Foot Pedal Valve for Hands-Free Washing

The foot valve sits at the base of the pedestal and controls the water, so staff wash without touching a handle. It is a two-pedal valve, and the hot and cold sides run on replaceable cartridges, item 28680 for hot and item 28681 for cold. The complete foot valve is also listed as a replacement part, item 23521.

16-Gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel

The sink is made of 16-gauge type 304 stainless steel. The foot valve is held by two set screws, which are to be filled with an approved silicone sealer at installation; silicone is not included.

Bowl and 7-3/4 Inch Backsplash

The bowl runs 16 inches front to back, 13-3/4 inches wide and 5-3/4 inches deep, and the rim measures 17-1/4 inches across. A 7-3/4 inch backsplash rises behind the bowl, with a gooseneck faucet mounted through it. The drain is a 1-1/2 inch basket with stopper.

Freestanding Footprint

The base is 13-3/4 inches wide by 18 inches deep and the whole unit stands 41-3/4 inches tall. Because it stands on the floor rather than hanging from a wall, it goes wherever a hand wash station is needed and floor space and plumbing are available.
