This Omcan underbar ice bin holds 77 pounds of ice in an open bowl 22 inches wide and 12 inches deep, made for bar operations and back of house use. Two bottle and shaker racks hang on the backsplash at the back of the bin, so bottles and shaker tins sit beside the ice. The unit stands 24 inches wide with a 30 inch work surface height, so plan a waste connection for the drain where it will sit. Leg braces are included for additional support.

Open Bin for Straight Ice Service
With no cold plate in the way, the full 12 inch bowl depth is open for ice. If your bar also runs post-mix soda lines, the same size bin is available insulated with a built-in 7 circuit cold plate under item 43477, which lets you run up to 7 soda lines through the bin to chill them before serving. A 1 inch diameter drain opening in the bottom of the bowl carries melt water to your waste line.
Bottle and Shaker Racks Included
Two divided racks come with the bin. Each hangs on the 3 inch backsplash at the rear, keeping bottles and shaker tins beside the ice without bolting on extra hardware.
20-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Bowl and Body
The bowl, top, back and body are 20-gauge 304 stainless steel. The legs and sockets are galvanized, with plastic bullet feet and U shaped leg bracing. A set of four 14 inch stainless steel legs, item 44624, and a stainless steel leg brace, item 44625, are listed as accessories.
Drain Connection, Assembly, and Accessories
Melt water leaves through the 1 inch diameter drain opening at the bottom of the bowl, so rough in a waste line where the bin will sit. Overall the unit runs 24 x 18-1/2 x 33 inches with the work surface at 30 inches, and the legs stand 19-5/8 x 13-3/4 inches apart. Assembly is required: the U shaped brace and legs go together with set screws, then the body sets onto the legs and is secured with set screws at each socket. A sliding cover, item 44622, is available separately.
