The Omcan 47261 Batch Bowl Food Processor
The Omcan 4 Qt. Bowl Cutter is the smallest in the Sirman-style lineup, built for restaurants, catering kitchens, and small food service operations that need a compact processor for sauces, dressings, dips, and finely chopped ingredients. The 350W motor drives a variable-speed system from 600 to 2800 RPM, so you can pulse through a rough chop at low speed and then crank up to full power for a smooth emulsion, all with the same machine. The die-cast and extruded aluminum body absorbs vibration during operation without the weight penalty of a full cast-iron housing, and the food-safe stainless steel bowl with handles and heavy bottom sits securely during processing.
Variable Speed 600 to 2800 RPM
Speed control is the difference between a chunky salsa and a smooth hummus, and the variable range from 600 to 2800 RPM gives you that full spectrum in a single unit. At 600 RPM you get a gentle chop that keeps texture in your pico de gallo. At 2800 RPM the long-lasting steel knife creates a smooth puree in seconds. The side-by-side motor and tank layout keeps the center of gravity low and the machine stable even at top speed. A transparent lid lets you see the texture developing without stopping the motor, and opens to let you add ingredients mid-process, a splash of olive oil into an aioli or a handful of herbs into a compound butter.
A safety micro-switch on both the lid and lever prevents the motor from engaging unless everything is properly closed, so there is no risk of blade contact during loading. The blade and bowl remove without tools for fast cleaning and sanitizing between batches. Included accessories are a spatula and sharpening stone, so you can maintain the blade edge without sending it out. At 29.8 lb, this machine is light enough to store on a shelf and pull out when needed, or leave it on the counter permanently if prep volume justifies it.
