The Omcan 47470 Mop Sink
This Omcan corner mop sink is a floor mounted fill and dump station built to eliminate lifting heavy mop buckets. The front corner of the 26-1/2 x 26-1/2 inch fixture is cut on the diagonal so it fits into the meeting of two walls. Your porters get a 24 x 24 inch basin with 12 inch walls for filling, dumping, and rinsing mop buckets at floor level. The drain pipe size is 2.36 inches, and the drain pipe itself is not included, so have your plumber rough in the corner waste connection first.
Diagonal Front for Corner Installation
The fixture is sized 26-1/2 inches along each wall with the outside corner cut away, so it sits in the corner of a janitor closet, dish room, or receiving area with the angled face toward the room. The angled front face sits 4 inches lower than the 1-1/2 inch top rim along the walls.
24 by 24 Inch Basin with 12 Inch Walls
The bowl gives you a full two feet in each direction with a 12 inch wall height, and the overall height of the sink is 16 inches. The interior back corner is formed with a 3/4 inch radius.
16-Gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel
The fixture is formed from 16-gauge type 304 stainless steel for easy cleaning and lasting durability.
Drain Basket and Threaded Strainer
The sink comes with a drain basket. The strainer is a 4-1/4 inch diameter threaded body, 2 inches tall, with an M78 x 2.5 thread and a grid top. The drain pipe size is 2.36 inches; the drain pipe is excluded, so your installer supplies the drain connection.
Floor Mount and Matching Faucet
The sink is floor mounted and includes a 22 inch bar with a 1-1/4 x 1/4 inch slot 3 inches in from each end. A wall mount mop sink faucet with a 6-1/2 inch swing spout on 8 inch centers, item 47502, is available separately to complete the station.
