The Omcan 47365 Steam Table
The Omcan FW-CN-0005-LP is an open-well propane steam table with a cutting board and undershelf, the largest in the series with five full-size pan positions and 17,500 BTU total output. Five pans let you spread a full buffet: multiple proteins, a starch, a vegetable, and a sauce or soup. It handles large catering events, institutional cafeterias, and hotel banquet service where you need to keep a diverse selection of hot items available for extended service periods.
Open-Well Design with Independent Infinite Controls
The open-well design holds water directly beneath the steam table pans, using gentle steam heat to maintain food at 203°F without direct flame contact that scorches or dries out delicate items. Each pan position has its own independent infinite control, so you can run the pan holding a cream soup at a lower setting while the pan with fried chicken holds at a higher temperature. That level of control prevents overcooking on items that deteriorate when held too hot and ensures items that need more heat stay above the safe holding threshold. Note that spillage pans are required for wet operations and are sold separately (item 80907). Food pans are also not included, giving you the flexibility to use your existing full-size pans.
Stainless Steel Construction with Cutting Board and Undershelf
The body and heating elements are stainless steel construction, built to handle the daily demands of commercial food service. A removable polyethylene cutting board spans the back of the unit, providing a food-safe work surface for slicing, portioning, or plating right at the serving station. The adjustable stainless steel undershelf underneath stores extra pans, utensils, serving spoons, and backup supplies within arm's reach. Having storage built into the unit means you do not need a separate table or cart next to it, saving floor space at catering events and in tight cafeteria layouts. The undershelf dimensions are 69.7" x 18.2" x 2".
