The Omcan 49060 Gas Gyro Machine
The Omcan NA-GD3 is a Potis natural gas doner kebab machine (vertical broiler) with three burners producing a combined 28,500 BTU (9,500 per burner). It holds up to 88 lb of meat on the skewer with a maximum meat height of 17.7", which is enough for a busy doner/gyro/shawarma shop to get through a full lunch or dinner service before needing to reload. The stainless steel construction holds up to the intense heat and grease exposure that vertical broilers deal with daily.
Three Individually Controlled Burners with Adjustable Distance
Each of the three burners operates independently with continuous pilots for immediate ignition. That means you can light all three for a full skewer of meat and then shut down the top burner as the meat level drops, which saves gas and prevents the top portion of the skewer from overcooking when there is no meat left at that level. The distance between the cooking spit and the burners is adjustable, letting you control how much char and smokiness you get on the outer layer. Moving the spit closer produces a more aggressive sear with more browning, while pulling it back gives a gentler cook for leaner meats that dry out faster. Each burner surface area measures 19.1" x 7.3".
Compact Floor Footprint with Extensive Accessories Available
The machine measures 20" x 23" x 36" and weighs 53 lb, which is compact enough to fit on a sturdy countertop or equipment stand next to your cutting board and pita warmer. The floor space with grease tray is 20.6" x 26.7". A full range of replacement and accessory parts is available separately, including three skewer sizes (695, 895, and 42.52 in.), three carving dishes (150, 195, and 9.84 in. diameter), dual burner with nozzle, motor drive, thermocouple, magnet coil, reinforced hand cross, front side panel, large carving shovel, and an LPG conversion kit (item 49093). The machine runs on natural gas with a 115V / 60Hz / 1Ph electrical connection for the motor. A natural gas regulator must be purchased separately.
